How long is just right?
Our walking tours, are one hour and provide a distinct tour experience for each group. For the final thirty minutes they can point out specific areas of interest or guide your group to your meal time selection.
Customize per your needs
We have created worksheet handouts for students, focused on specific topics and incorporated historic locations into our tours. Talk to us about your specific requirements, standards or learning objectives. We want to make this field trip experience awesome and educational!

Historic Houses and Sites
Many of our groups enjoy taking advantage of nearby locations of historic interest that offer docent tours or short programs. Ask your Cavalier representative about including these in your tour or as a separate event.
Activities around town
Let us help you select important or interesting locations to share with your students. Fort Sumter or the South Carolina Aquarium or the Blue Ropes Activity Course are always popular choices. Some groups are interested in non-historic side-trips or speakers and presentations. Charleston has many exciting opportunities.
Museum Programs and more
The Charleston Museum has an extensive list of programs with important Charleston and Lowcountry topics at their location. Ask us about subjects specific to African-American history, natural history or other diverse subjects. Let us know if you are interested in special presentations or speakers. We want your experience with history to be in-depth and varied as you desire.
